UPA were contacted by a returning client who had been so impressed with our previous work, that he entrusted me with his own home, which was to be demolished and rebuilt.
The work began with the safe isolation of all utilities, followed by soft stripping and full demolition of the property, with all waste segregated into skips. This project required a thorough soft stripping to allow for a much cleaner reusable aggregate. All concrete arisings were removed followed by the backfilling and compaction of all voids ready for the main earthworks to commence.
Due to the limited access, i methodically started the excavation into the existing bank undertaking a cut and fill exercise and removal of 1800 tonnes of material from site. This was to allow the commencement of the construction phase of this project.
All drainage was completed by myself, along with the installation of the septic tank.
